Some Tennis-Tykes Games

Develops hand to eye coordination and racquet control.  We use mini-beach balls at first.  Fun and success are key.

Children must learn to track a moving ball before they can play tennis.  This drill in the progression of learning to track a moving ball.

Even picking up balls can be fun!

This concept is key to successful tennis… or any ball sport.  We first hit the stationary ball, learn our tracking skills, then we are ready to hit a moving ball.

Hand to eye coordination combined with footwork.  Integrated with an achievable goal of getting the ball into the goal.
